President's Welcome

Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to the Emirati League against Epilepsy website.

The Emirati League against Epilepsy (ELAE) is the official UAE chapter of the International League against Epilepsy (ILAE), bringing together neurologists, epileptologists, allied health professionals and researchers committed to advancing epilepsy care in the Emirates.

Our mission is to ensure that the standard of epilepsy care across the UAE reflects internationally accepted clinical practice, to deliver nationwide education and training, and to promote the exchange of medical and scientific knowledge through our annual congress, publications and regional collaboration.

With these objectives in place, we welcome physicians, healthcare professionals and researchers with an active interest in epilepsy and the neurosciences to join ELAE and contribute to the continued advancement of epilepsy care in the Emirates.
