Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the scientific committee of the First Annual UAE Epilepsy Congress, it is my honor and privilege to invite you to participate in the congress from April 13th to 14th in Dubai.

The Scientific Organizing Committee and the regional advisory Committee have been working arduously to prepare a scientific and a comprehensive program. We have put together this program with participation of national and regional renowned expert faculty members, who during the two days will present cutting edge topics at the various interfaces of epilepsy to advance and disseminate knowledge about epilepsy within the medical society.

The congress will strongly focus on four main themes: Drug therapy, childhood epilepsy, epilepsy co morbidities, and refractory epilepsy. This congress is hosted under the umbrella of the Emirates League Against Epilepsy, and has been endorsed by the Commission of Eastern Mediterranean Affairs (CEMA) and the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE).

 

In addition to the main sessions, we will host a range of satellite symposia which focus on the pertinent issues of epilepsy practice, lively debates, and interactive case discussions. We believe these additions will raise the most dynamic and controversial topics facing clinicians in the fields of epilepsy in an exciting debate forum.
